browse the Birdcage Walk collectionThe designs in Nina Campbell’s collection of elegant wallpapers have all been given appropriate London place names, which help evoke the cosmopolitan nature of England’s capital city. The title design, Birdcage Walk, is a combination of songbirds and gilt cages set on trailing branches named after the famous approach to Buckingham Palace. ‘Birdcage’ refers to the time when Charles II kept an aviary of exotic birds at this location. This collection also includes some beautiful modern flock designs: Manaus a large scale climbing palm leaf and the sumptuous Fleur de Lys Court, a modern take on the traditional emblem.
Giverny
browse the Giverny collectionThe Autumn 2008 collection by the renowned designer Nina Campbell for Osborne & Little. Inspired by the famous garden of Claude Monet at Giverny, this collection has a strong floral theme and a very delicate feminine feel to the wallcoverings. Floral inspirations include the famous lilies, together with lilacs, maple leaves and ferns. A mix of designs some with a smaller scale suitable for use on more than one wall, like the pretty Alyssa trellis (shown in image). Others with a larger scale like the bold leaf design Delphine are given a subtler feel by the use of a woven fabric effect behind the design and of course the mirrored Fougeres design with its high gloss metallic effect adds light and drama to any room.
