The first wallpaper of its kind where print, flock and crystals have been used to create a truly stunning wallpaper. Vibrance is a large floral design drawn in gold on a dark charcoal marble effect background with giant velvet black flock flower heads with gold Swarovski crystals at the centre. Hydrangea is a pretty fuchsia pink hydrangea flower with silver gold leaves on a light aubergine marble effect wallpaper with occasional gold butterflies, bright pink Swarovski crystals and glitter details. The ‘Wisteria’ (shown), ‘Twisting Bloom’ and ‘Fuschia & Humming Bird’ are inspired by nature and provide unusual interpretations of the natural world around us. Whilst ‘Tulong’ and ‘Regal Square’ have a more industrial feel.

Something a little different and original …

A lovely vertical floral design of stylised orchid flowers – can be used either as a subtle background or when the dramatically coloured lotus blooms are added, with their hand-painted effect, used as a fantastic feature wall paper. Design shown red orchid – 190207.

Each paper in the collection, whilst not an exact copy of the original, nonetheless maintains its essence and traditional feel. The designs have been re-scaled and re-coloured and produced using modern manufacturing methods; some such as the flock papers, reflect closely the archive document whilst others achieve a more modern appeal through the use of vivid colours and metallic finishes.

Little Greene’s aim is to bring these archive designs back to life, reinterpreting them in a way that makes them suitable for use in the 21st century.

These wallpapers incorporate elements from the Fornasetti archives used to make stunning large scale designs in a palette of useable colours ranging from reds and golds, to neutrals and blacks. They include ‘Tema e Variazioni’ which uses the famous images of a girl’s face; abstract shapes based on natural objects such as ‘Malachite’ and ‘Corallo’; buildings in the ‘Mediterranea’ design, and an array of botanically perfect florals, including the hydrangea design ‘Ortensia’ (shown), pansies, peonies and the forbidden fruit and monkeys in ‘Frutto Proibito’.
