Ottoline features a painterly, romantic rose trail in soft aqua tones on an ivory ground. The design was inspired by the beautiful gardens of Charleston Farmhouse, the home of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, both of whom were key personalities within the hugely creative Bloomsbury group of artists, poets and designers from the 1930's. Printed on a luxuriously soft 200 thread count cotton percale and complemented with an embroidered flat sheet and pillowcase, embroidered sateen cushion and fringed mohair throw.

This elegant floral print is based on a late 19th century French fabric design and portrays loose bouquets of peonies beautifully re-created in a palette of fresh blue tones on a pale ivory ground. In 2010 Sanderson celebrates its 150th anniversary. To mark this significant occasion they have raided their archives and put together this glorious collection of Vintage designs, ranging in date from the late 19th century through to the 1980’s. The final collection includes styles from the Arts & Crafts movement, jazzy Modernes, fifties Festival designs and Pop patterns. Sanderson have combined the new with the old and employed contemporary printing techniques to enhance each design, bringing a richness and originality to these historical textiles. A glorious celebration of garden flowers; this latest collection from Sanderson is a fresh and colourful mix of floral wallpapers. Based on contemporary drawings and paintings from the Sanderson Studios. They include the stunning magnolia blooms of Grandiflora with their subtle use of metallic ink effects, the quietly restrained detail of the pen and ink botanical Woodland Ferns and the looser feel of the Summertree design with its abundance of garden flowers. The collection also includes some pretty semi-plain neutrals which complement the designs.
